Membership in the Nazarene Church represents the membership we all share as Christians in the body of Christ.

Baptism
The act of baptism is commonly referred to as, “An outward expression of an inner change that has already occurred in the believer’s heart.”  Baptism publicly identifies the believer with Jesus Christ.  Thus, the believer is baptized as an act of obedience, commitment, and proclamation.

You may have questioned, “Should I be baptized?”  We believe that those who have heard the gospel (Acts 18:8), who believe the gospel (Acts 8:36-38), who ask forgiveness of their sins (Acts 2:38), who put their total trust and faith in Christ alone for their salvation (Acts 16:31), and who have become or want to become Disciples of Christ (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16), should be baptized!

 

For many, it is one of the most significant experiences in their walk with Christ and for that reason; we would be honored to baptize you here at Westminster Church!
